Spring has Arrived
April 5, 2010
It seems as if spring has finally arrived. The trees are changing daily turning a brighter green with little sprouts appearing. Our grass looks healthy after our fall seeding and we have brought in several loads of rock to get our roads back up in shape. It was a long, wet, cold winter. Reed and Mary moved into anew mobile home in February and are enjoying all of our new space. We hope you are making plans to visit us sometime this summer. Our game room is now open since all of our belongings have been moved out. We have added a couple of video games for the children along with tables and chairs if you feel like socializing or playing cards.
Upcoming events in the area are:
May 4th to May 8th-Magic Midway Carnival in Benton. Rend Lake Water Festival begins on Tuesday.
Parade in downtown Benton beginning at 10:00 on May 8th.
Benton Farmer's Market begins on May 6th.
We welcome the AIR-Midwest Rally on May 14th-16th.
We welcome the Lincoln Landers Rally on May 20th to the 23th.
Make your reservations now for the weekend of June 18th when "Black Diamond" will be performing at our pavillion from 6:30 until 10:00.
